Yes I’ve Evolved
A friend of mine called up yesterday to congratulate me on publishing my first book of children’s poetry. It’s called Poetreat. She had received her copy in the post and was very excited about reading it. A few years ago we were neighbours, but she shifted to a different city. We were so close that we ended up leaving the door open for each other to walk in and out of our homes. She left a void in my heart as she vacated the house right opposite mine 7 years ago. I had lost my best friend, my advisor, my confidante’, my chai partner, my go-to person for every little issue in my life. Whilst we were talking, she said 6 words to me “Monisha, You’ve truly transformed. You’ve evolved.” I knew exactly what she meant, and said “I’m glad you’ve noticed. I had reached the lowest low of my life, so I could have only come upwards and evolved. It could only have gotten better for me, right?” She said “Yes, but the very fact that you accept it and have made a path for yourself to evolve is truly inspirational. Not very many people do that — in fact they don’t even accept the reality of their lives.” I thanked her from the bottom of my heart. After we hung up, I pondered over her words. Yes, I am still Monisha, but something inside of me has changed. I feel differently, I think differently, I connect to people differently, I empathise a lot more, I connect to people at a soul level now, I don’t waste my time with artificial people anymore because I recognize tell tale signs of toxicity in people. I surround myself with my family and loved ones and I go all out to help people who ask for my help. I get a sense I’ve become more intuitive and I listen to my gut feel a lot more. I know when people are facing issues in their lives, but I wait for them to talk about it to me if they want my expertise. My favourite quote that I tell my clients is “Nothing surprises me anymore”. I’ve heard a lot of stories in my personal and professional life as a Life Transformation and Relationship Coach. I’ve experienced some of these stories myself, so I am able to connect to people’s issues a lot faster now. I’ve become more spiritual. I’ve adopted a lot of learnings in my life now. I’ve become very open to learning new things. So yes, I have evolved doing a lot of stuff that I never ever thought I would do. Yes I have evolved by giving back to the society I live in. I went in for coaching with my mentor and I’m now an internationally certified Life Transformation Coach and Relationship Coach. Yes I have evolved. I would love to help you evolve too in your own life and your relationships. I’ve done it for myself and I can only say I am very happy and at peace within from the very core of me. If you’d like to connect with me to discuss your issues or to let me know what true evolving means to you, you could write in to me at myroohmysoul@gmail.com. Oh and if you’d like to order a copy of my book, you can do so online on Amazon and Notion Press websites in India. Search for Poetreat by Monisha Narang, and it should come up on your search results. Thankyou for your time. Have a great rest of the day.
